Also, just a note - if I know who made a gif or screen capped something I'll mention it, but it's more likely that I have absolutely no idea. If you see something that's yours, by all means let me know so I can credit you properly. LIKE THIS ICON. Made by mizz_destiny on LJ
LMFAO. The fandom really are like “shhhh” about the character Loki and Hiddles himself. I seriously call Thor Loki 1 and The Avengers Loki 2 and Thor: The Dark World Loki 3. Loki over everything. I relate to being that familial outcast. Not so much the slaughtering people part. But that misunderstood outcast. Not the perfect child or sibling or person. Dah well.

HE’S THE WORST VILLIAN BECAUSE YOU RELATE AND FEEL TO HIM AND I ACTUALLY ROOT FOR HIM.
but that also makes him the best
Loki was the reason I sat up and actually payed attention to this whole MCU thing, starting with this movie. I knew exactly where Thor’s journey was going to go, but I had no idea where Loki’s would take him. And that held my attention like a mothefucker.
Thor was more of a drama with superheroes than a superhero movie - not in the DC ‘we’re sorry we made a movie with superheroes maybe we can forget about that’ way but in a ‘wow look at the many dynamic characters and personal intrigue involved in these superhero stories and let’s talk about those things’ way. If you ever forget about that just look at literally any scene with Loki because the bag-of-cats lunatic of The Avengers is nowhere to be seen. In Thor Loki is freaking Shakespearean and it’s beautiful.
