psst I never liked it when she called you professor either, Doctor. It’s literally the only thing I can think of that isn’t perfect about Ace, but I got used to it because I think I’d be willing to let Ace call me whatever the hell she wanted to.

I love them, and their relationship, and this scene, but I have to say that early on, I thought Ace had some kind of Pokemon-esque affliction that caused her  to occasionally only be able to communicate using her own name.  I’m glad that sort of faded out.
