going the long way around: Russian Holmes
I got about 10 minutes in before realizing it wasn’t just delightful, it was absolutely fucking delightful.
30 minutes in, I had to pause and come write this, because suspicious!Watson boxing with Holmes while Holmes deduces, while the two of them are effectively in long underwear… yeah. Followed by Watson collapsing backwards onto his bed, Holmes following at a leisurely walk as he unties his boxing glove with his teeth, nipple clearly visible through the long underwear, deducing about the gun Watson has hidden for this confrontation. He hands it over to Watson and Watson points it at him, still wearing boxing gloves. Then he becomes embarrassed.
Ten seconds later, Mrs. Hudson spontaneously appears and force feeds Watson sherry.
If you haven’t watched this thing yet, you are sorely missing out.

Yet to find anyone who doesn’t fall irrevocably in love after episode one. It’s really a great production.
