“I met Tom Baker in 1979 while he was publicising Doctor Who Weekly in a newsagents in Maidstone (near where I live). He asked me if I was scared of the monsters, to which I replied “no.” Whereas he signed my autograph book “To Peter, the Brave”.

I really love this moment (not just because they are trapped in a room together) because Sarah says what the audience is thinking while watching (well I know I was thinking it) ‘use the sonic screwdriver’, and then when he says he left it in the TARDIS, Sarah’s ‘Oh’ is just a perfect expression of ‘Oh Doctor you idiot!’

I know, I know that there are plot holes aplenty in The Android Invasion. I’ve read the critiques and I see their point. But I think I had seen this serial three times before I noticed the problems because Four and Sarah are just so adorable and so wonderful here.
