“I’ll never forget the first screening. Everyone came to L.A. on their own dime to see a rough cut. […] I sat with my wife watching the film, and at the end I was crying. My wife said, ‘What’s the matter?’ I said, ‘I never dreamed I would get to be in anything like this.’ […] Not a day goes by where somebody doesn’t come up and ask, ‘Can you say the line?’ And I say it with the greatest joy in the world. I’ll often whisper it into a little kid’s ear so he’s not looking at my face, so he just hears my voice, because I don’t want to mess up the magic.”—

Most of these serials exist entirely in recon form. Recon meaning reconstruction, as the BBC burned many of the episodes.
All audio remains for every serial, and telesnaps exist for all but one, thus reconstructions have images from the actual episodes being shown with the audio. BBC has also released narrated episode audio, allowing for a more fully understandable recon.
Some serials have a few episodes surviving, some have a few scenes, and some have clips that were removed due to censoring. I’ve marked which have surviving footage, but might’ve miss a few that have only have a scene/clips surviving.
As of posting this list all these links work, but give me a heads up if any stop working and I’ll do my best to replace it. This list will be updated as necessary or when I see fit.

Traditionally gay refers to men & lesbian to women. But now, due to the male-as-default patriarchy, gay has come to mean lesbians too. Hence the LesbianGayBiTransQueer acronym. Just some FYI for ya :) -maybe they’re trying to be inclusive & accurate?
But it sounds like the word ‘gay’ had mostly male connotations in the first place because of sexism—invisibility of women especially in a sexual way that didn’t relate to men. And gay became a word for homosexual because it used to mean sexually immoral.
Really going off of that I think it’s a bit weird to try to be accurate because why would we want a term that used to mean immoral whereas straight meant conventional? I mean, gay now means men and women, it’s rarely (if ever?) considered offensive.
A lot of the people I see doing this aren’t people who are trying to be inclusive. Best case scenario they leave out the asexual community, but they also often don’t mention transgender and/or bisexual/pansexual/etc people.
Ah, that’s a good point about gay maybe meaning only men due to invisibilizing women. I only know a bit of the history, but I thought that ‘gay’ was adopted initially as a code term (at first at the turn of the century?), but then also to have a term that didn’t have the negative connotations of ‘homosexual’? I really should read up on this again.
I do think that ‘gay’ meaning both men and women is a generational thing - I think in the 60s and 70s it meant homosexual men, but now in the … Oughts(?) it’s come to mean both, sorta? I generally only see younger people using it for both, and those from my age group (40s) and up using it only for men, with ‘lesbian’ for women.
But, as you say, the people you are referring to aren’t all that inclusive. Why do you think they use it, then? Is it a case of ie “judge” and “woman judge,” where one feels the need to add a grouping for women because the original term is androcentric and women & their stuff always need to be kept separate from men & their stuff (cuz of feminizing cooties. or something)?
Ahh yes, that is a pretty distinct detail :) Massive time suck. I'm attempting to write a paper and have been for the past 5 and a half hours. I've almost reached my goal, but then I saw you were back and I was like, 'well I must go say hi!' I am a terrible student.
Haha oh I can relate! Sooo easy to be distracted. Good luck with getting back at that paper *sends writing vibes your way*
